Each NES or Famicom shipped here will receive a complete motherboard checkup and refurbishment. This makes the system much more reliable and will bring years of flawless enjoyment. Note: This service is only offered for NES Toploader, NES Frontloader and AV Famicom. This service is for US based customer only.
Palette switch options: (changes color palette on screen)
-3 Position Color toggle switch usually placed at rear.
-No switch / Fixed Color Pallet set to normal
-3D printed Multiout connector SNES/N64 style. Outputs AV, Svideo, and RGB. For Toploader NES only.
-Improved Dual Mono. This has the best overall sound and customer satisfaction.
-Faux Stereo (NES channels A & B are separated)
-Expansion Audio can be installed to support extra audio channels found in a few Famicom games. Only order this if you have a Modified Famicom to NES game adapters or Everdrive units. We can discuss this in more detail.
-Disable the NES Lockout chip
-LED Power Light or LED color change
-Full NES case cleaning and polishing. This cleaning process will remove all service dirt and most marks and stains. This will not remove heavy sun faded yellowing.
-Replace Voltage Regulator & Caps
-Check and adjust 72pin connector (or replace if required).
Note: The 72pin design in Frontloader NES consoles has a known design flaw. The cleaning & adjustment is only a temporary fix. It will eventually fail again. Permanent solution is requesting a BLW replacement . "Blinking Light Win" is a great option for the Frontloader NES. This device will eliminate game reading issues and replaces the 72 pin. Research the item and consider mailing it here with your console (not a stocked item but installation is free).
